Interprofessional practice and education are tools that work cohesively in the Mental Health setting. Griffith University in conjunction with the Australian Government Office for Teaching and Learning completed a project entitled Developing cross-disciplinary leadership capacity for enhancing the professional education of multidisciplinary mental health workers which provides a full set of resources to train and develop the IPE skills for mental health practitioners taking on IPE placements including facilitator manuals, student workbooks and online clips.  Type the title into the search engine at the link to find the resources

The University of the Sunshine Coast and Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE has produced a workshop for students and educators to build the skill set of working interprofessionally within Mental Health.  They have completed a Workshop Planner guidebookFacilitator Guide and Student Workbook.  The Final Report (McAllister et al, 2012) outlines their methodology and outcomes.
